4) Good sleep hygiene - Getting adequate amounts of sleep every night helps our bodies recover from previous days activities so it can perform optimally during waking hours . Not getting enough quality rest each night has been linked with adverse effects on our hearts due to disruption of normal hormonal rhythms driving up cortisol levels & putting us at higher risk for conditions like hypertension & diabetes over extended periods of time if left unchecked . So get plenty rest !
